Join Planet Pilgrims for some wonderful holidays in Cape Town and have a great time in together with your child. Discover all the natural highlights around the City of Cape Town like Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope and the Cape Wine lands.
We will travel in a 14 seater air-conditioned bus and all tours are guided by your Planet Pilgrim Ambassador Jessy Lipperts assisted by her 5 year old daughter Rosie. Jessy is an accredited South African National Tourist Guide and has run her boutique travel company since 2004. She shares many adventures with her daughter and would love to share the passion for travel with more Solo Traveling Parents.
All excursions are inclusive of: bus hire, driver and tour guide and require a minimum of 10 people to be able to offer these strongly discounted rates.
There will be fruit and healthy snacks on the bus. Kids are ALWAYS hungry aren’t they?
Entrance fees, tastings, lunch are for own account.
Au-pairs, aunts, uncles and grandparents with their grand children are also very welcome to join.

DATE: 6 March 2018: Swim with penguins, full day excursion,
PRICE: ZAR 475 per person + entrance fees, Wildcard members free entrance
09h00: departure from Seapoint, exact address provided after booking, to follow the coastal route to Houtbay, Chapmans Peak Drive (photo stop) and Noordhoek. At Noordhoek village we will make our first stop to let the kids play in the play area and the parents can enjoy a coffee. We continue to Boulders Beach where we meet with the penguins.
If weather and tide permits we could even swim with the penguins! Please bring swim suits, towels, picnic lunch, sun cream and hats!
DATE: 7 March 2018: Cape Winelands.Wine/chocolate tasting for the adults and grape juice/wine gum tasting for the children;
PRICE: ZAR 475 per person, excluding tasting (ZAR 70 adults; ZAR 40 for kids)
10h00: departure from Seapoint, exact address provided after booking, and drive in direction Stellenbosch where we visit Spier Wine Farm. Firstly we will enjoy a the tasting. Afterwards everyone can buy a picnic at the shop and we enjoy a lovely picnic on the big lawns. There’s plenty of space for the kids to run and play. After the picnic we embark on a Heritage Walk of the farm which will tell us some very interesting facts about this beautiful historical farm which has won many awards for their implementation of sustainable farming and practices.
